Fun With Boxes and Paint

During the school holidays, we had some fun with boxes and paint. It's quirky but I love keeping boxes. Now, I get to use some of the boxes in my storeroom.

Got this idea from a friend who made a three tier chest drawer with some boxes. After some modification, we made a four column chest drawer out of boxes and paper mache. The children enjoyed applying glue onto strips of paper and painting (with me holding their hands).

The outside of our chest drawer.

The children chose their own favorite color for their individual compartment.

Karl wanted a house on grass and he wanted the sky orange with white clouds. So, that's what I have drawn using a square paint brush.

Our end product.
The tissue boxes were too nice to do paper mache.
